EVENT INFORMATION

As you stumble your journey’s last steps to your sleepy village, you let out a sight of relief. You have spent the last four winters fighting a power-hungry wizard who had cursed the woodland folk and laid waste to the enchanted forests. At last, you have put a stop to him and can return to a normal life. But as your battleworn boots hit the cobbled stone, you hear a faint whisper on the wind… A plea for aid. Your efforts are needed once more to liberate a fallen comrade. But before you return, you must forge a new blade.

In this workshop, you’ll pick out a hand-sculpted dagger and decorate it using a selection of underglazes. Ceramic artist Sophia (they/them) will walk you through the technique, how to mix underglazes to get your desired colour, and provide a fun fill-in-the-blanks lore sheet to help you figure out the backstory and name of your dagger… because every self-respecting blade needs a name.

After you have finished decorating your dagger, Sophia will apply a layer of transparent glaze that will give your dagger a shiny finish. All daggers have a small hook sculpted into the back so you may display it as a wallhanging if you wish.

Daggers will then be fired and you will receive an email or call when they are ready for pick up at Print Hole.
